It was Halloween night, and me and my friend went to Aberdeen Center for trick or treating.
We finally finished our trick or treating and decided to look at some of the Halloween games. There were so much games: you could win many prizes which are divided into three categories: small, medium and large. We stared at them enviously. "Can we play? Can we play? We asked our mothers more then ten times.
"It costs too much," they replied. "maybe another time when it gets cheaper."
We persuaded them more, but it didn't work. We tried and tried, but only got one reply: no. We sighed and looked at the people playing the stations.
Suddenly, a woman around twenty years old was coming towards us. She was holding countless shopping bags. She stopped right beside us and said, "Here, two tickets. You can have one and share with her, and you can have one for yourself. I can tell you really want to play! Happy Halloween!" We looked at her quickly walk through the exit, shocked and surprised. We stood paralyzed and didn't speak a word until my friend shouted, "THANK YOU!" I joined her and we burst into a spell of shouting "THANK YOU'S" to that woman.
As we walked to our favourite station where you pick a pumpkin and get Prize Tickets, we dreamed of our prizes. We thought about what we would choose, and what we would draw from the pumpkins...
When we reached there, my friend got two Prize Tickets. I got two as well. We were only eligible for the small prizes, so I chose a rainbow spring. My friend chose one too. We promised that we would treasure it forever, and be like that woman as well, being kind and giving things to people. Now, I call her Mother Christmas and I still have that spring.
