What is a “Survey”? What is an “Offer”?
There are two separate ways to earn coins, the free surveys, and the offers.
The free surveys can be accessed by clicking on the ads on the side of the screen. You will have to first complete the “activation survey” at the top to start taking surveys for coins. You will be asked to select your current country of residence. Options are: United States; Canada English; United Kingdom; Other; and Canada French. Surveys are not available for persons under 18, in most cases.
”Free” offers (found under the surveys) are
NOT always free, and unless you like tons of spam email, telemarketing calls and having your cell spammed with text messages, it is recommended that you do not do any of the “free offers" or "risk-free trials". They are really paid offers! They are also not great deals, and it is often much cheaper to purchase coins without doing the offers, because you are paying for the offer, and getting less coins.
*Offers will want your name, address, email, as well as phone numbers for your house and cellular phone... so they can send you spam & call you during dinner. Some offers require a credit card as well, which they will charge.
*A free survey will
never ask you for any personally identifying information. They will often ask for your age, gender, zip code, income, or family composition, to place you in a category that tells their clients who is giving what kind of answers. It will also tell them whether they have enough similar people who have taken they survey.
So... How Do I Get To the Surveys?
Before you begin, make sure you have pop-ups allowed. Clicking on the images below the text will allow you to see it full size, and see notations better.
Step 1
Click on the ad located on the right hand side of the screen, in either space indicated by the red circles. Clicking on one of the ads will give you a pop-up window.
The ads look like this:

If you are not logged into the acclaim website, it will tell you to do so. Enter the name of the account you want to have the coins go on, and the password for that account. If you have multiple accounts, check the address bar to make certain you are logged into the account you wish to have coins on. (see page map 1 at the bottom of this section)
Step 2
Complete the “activation survey” at the top.
Step 3
Click on an available survey. Some will have pre-qualifying questions that you must answer to access the actual survey. If you qualify, a window will pop up, and you can then begin taking the survey.
Step 4
When you complete the survey, a window will show you how many coins you have earned for taking it. If you are disqualified during the survey, it will often give you 10 coins just for trying.
Don’t get discouraged if there are not any surveys available, just keep checking it daily and eventually you will get one you can do. Even if you fail out of the surveys, those 10 coins you get will add up! If you can’t wait to spend them, Fast Oats (adds to a pony’s speed stat), Golden Horseshoes (increases elegance stat), and Salt Blocks (improves magic stat) can be purchased for 10 coins each in the marketplace.
Extra Bonus
If you can complete 5 surveys in a 24 hour period, you will be given a bonus of 300 coins. How close you are to the bonus is shown in a progress bar that is clickable. (see page map 1)
How Do I Get Coins On Multiple Accounts?
If you would like to have coins on multiple accounts, make sure that you are logged into the correct account before taking any surveys. You will have to go to the Acclaim site to log-off and log back into the account you wish to change to. You can easily tell which account you are doing surveys for in the address bar at the top of your browser. (see page map 1)
How To Report A Problem With A Survey
Occasionally, surveys will fail to clear off your screen, or fail to load. Simply click on the link in the upper right-hand corner of the survey that’s not co-operating, type a short description of the issue, and submit it. It will thank you for reporting with a cute little smiley face. (see page map 2)
Who Can help With Other Survey Problems?
For other issues with the surveys, such as you know you completed the survey, but you did not receive any coins for it, you must contact Peanut Labs support.
Acclaim and Peanut Labs are two different companies that work together. Acclaim and the Mods cannot help you with any survey problems. Acclaim’s systems are entirely separate, and the Mods don’t have any power to change this, or to help you with it.
Steps To Take For Getting Help
To find all the surveys you have taken, click on the “Need Help?” link next to the Extra Bonus progress bar. There is a handy-dandy FAQ there, as well as another tab called “My Coins Rewards” that will list all surveys and offers that you completed or were disqualified from, and the amount of coins earned, if any. (location of link shown on the page map 1)
Click on the survey you wish to contact them about, and enter the email address you would like them to reply to. Choose an option that is close to what you think best describes the issue you are having. Include a note about what went wrong, and then expect to wait a while before hearing from them. They usually respond to emails in less than 24 hours, but it may take a few days. Have patience, and remember to be nice

They will get everything straightened out for you!
Good Luck!
