Just cruising through the forums and see a lot of hate posts about people not saving other people. Just thought I'd post this here, so people know.

You can save people from death by double clicking on them while they are still on their knees. I've noticed it is easier to select them first then double click, it doesn't always work, but most will be happy you saved them from the experience loss.

Hopefully this lets people know about a really helpful feature in this game!

NOTE - Sometimes it doesn't work and some people also say people start "rubber banding" around. You also have to be pretty close to them and you will do a short animation, it takes nothing from you and gets the person back on their feat.

Most people don't know that if they are in a party, they can double-click the person's name on the party bar to head toward them, and when you are close, you can double click their name to revive them. I do that often, because it might be harder to click on the avatar, especially if there are monsters around.

sigh. It seems that you don't get much gratitude for reviving ppl these days. Was at shi zhang when i saw a guy KOed, with 2 fir seeds and a blue sabre drop next to him. I cleared the mob that killed him(it was left with 1/10 health) and ressed him juz in time. The next time he did was picked up all the loot and run off to village, though there was no mob nearby.

Sometimes i wonder y i say sorry when i din manage to ress a guy in time...

The party ress tip is helpful though Smile

Hello,

yes, sometimes people are weird if you actually help them..

I've ressed one on a good friends house with his OC Char a while ago, he stand in a group of 3 - 4 Monsters [they attacked me for sure] and there was a drop from him, too. I picked that drop accidentally while I tried to res him [just like 3X gold]. I did it in time and the first thing he said were like: "GIMME MY LOOT!"... Not only that I didnt even want to keep it [who the heck cares about a drop anyways?], he didnt thank me, just flamed me for the loot.. And because of this acting I didnt give it back. Wink [Yesh, I'm a very evil man, you see..] He then ran into town cursing..

But most times I res people they respond nicely and thank me.. even most times I help someone with monsters they're nice. Some don't say anything, I don't care about that. But nobody should curse someone that actually tries to help him.

Btw, I'll keep ressing and helping people, I think one "thank you" fits for 10 flames anyways. Wink

Regards,

EisWolf

[The funny fact is: I actually play a Heavenly Demon... And because there's nothing plain evil in the world I see everything with a balanced view, while others act with any class / clan like they got a brainshot right through their skull before.. Maybe I'm just too old for childish acting. No Idea. Wink]

Laughing Eis, I am like you, if I see someone in trouble I try to help them. And usually they thank me. One time someone gave me 50 gold for rezzing them Shocked . And If I'm fighting mobs without backup (usually when I'm solo) and don't want to be KSed I usually ask very politely for people to not help me unless I ask for it Wink . In fact one time when I was killing blood Monks in Zhengzhou with my Wu Tang a nearby FD White Tiger was continually buffing me which I was very grateful for Wink and the one time they killed me she was right there and rezzed me Very Happy . So, as far as I'm concerned I'm gonna keep helping people because I like to help people Razz and who knows? Maybe someday one of the people i help will return the favor Smile . In general, helping others can come back to help you later. See ya in-game!

Heheheh.. True, True my friend..

Yesterday evening, I playd a bit too early, I were at Monks.. and guess what? It was crowded alot. Okay, so what does a HEAVENLY Demon do now? No, don't KS, that's lame.. I tried to avoid KSings.. I even tried to avoid them as they [must be one big party..] attacked my mobs... because I do ways more damage = Drops are mine.. and I had to level my new skills.

All went good [even as they attacked nearly every Enemy I took myself] until.. 4 Monks just spawned around me. So I started slaughter them, I was nearly in the middle of the Player's Crowd.. and guess what? They didn't attack one of mine.. and after my Vit ran out I died a nice painful death while slowly walking away thinking about flowers in the desert.. [something like this must've been in the mind of my character as he started to lag-crawl away from those monks..]. I didnt care much, I were in a crowd of around 8 ppl.. and so I just typed: "Help me please"..

Do you actually think any of those &#!@ would just response?

And so I took my time in the evening and ksed the whole party for around 2 Hours [Got 80%, 2 Weapons & 1 BE]..

That relieved my stress a bit. Wink

So remember one thing, people: Even nice demons can get pissed if they loose around 6XX Blood Points Razz

Regards,

the usually ks-hating

There's no sense in getting enraged over people not reviving you in time. If they aren't in your party, then they really have no obligation to help you at all. Just remember that you're the person who miscalculated and lost all of your life. I've seen many people fall into a coma and then revive on the spot, only to swear at people in all caps... Shocked. Not good for the community.... Anyways, in most MMORPG games you would just die, and not have the luxury of getting revived, or even respawning right where you died, for that matter. Personally, I think the 9 Dragons death system is too lenient right now.

Some people might just not have seen your message or your body. I don't check my chat window all that often; maybe once every 5 minutes, on average. So reading and responding to a message to revive (which usually only has a 10 second or so window of time) isn't all that probable.

Despite that lecture... I still always try to revive people whenever I'm able to Razz . Helping people and making more friends is always better.

I see it as if you do something nice for someone DONT expect a thank you or a gratitude. Do it because you want to help and not for thanks.

Is there anyway to rez them once there in a coma.

Sometimes I'm lucky and in the right place at the right time to help, but mostly by the time you realize it, times up and there in a coma.

I was lucky one day, in a party and decided to move to where party leader was after about an hour of hunting

two seconds arriving notice him go down and was quick to revive. That one thing made the time I took to get to him worthwhile as far as I was concerned.

But mostly, its hard to tell if someone is going down if not in your party. I was clicking on people in combat to see if they need healing but you cant tell from that. I think if you can tell the health of an agro you click then you should be able to tell the health of another player.

And I dont expect a thankyou most of the time Ive already moved on, but its annoying when you go down and they do nothing.....

I guess there not as enlightened as they might think.
