Nope i'm pretty sure you can't although i've never tried. It's just what i've heard Wink

No, you cannot trade them in-game.
That's why there seems to be some problems with scammers. Rolling Eyes

Only Exp cards and Item cards are tradable from the Item Mall.

The method of "selling" scales is a problem of scamming, so I generally don't advise buying scales from players
